If you are interested in “Doing well by doing good” then this may be the place for you.
Our goal is to change vocational education in the US; that is, we don’t just teach our students about jobs, we educate them to be successful at their jobs in order to become financially secure. We believe that the sole purpose of vocational education is to teach people how to succeed at their jobs (and how to get better jobs).
Your background
Ex-felons who have the ability and desire to help other less-advantaged people become financially secure are welcome.
Successful people who understand that the best way to help communities is to help the bottom 25% become financially secure through stable and meaningful employment.
Your personal mission
You have to want to, “do well by doing good”; that is to help others become financially secure through stable and meaningful employment.
We do not offer a religious-based environment. However, we utilize the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola and believe that our mission is completely consistent with them.
Homegrown expansion
We anticipate that much of our growth will be the result of graduates becoming instructors and managers. Students are encouraged to find employment as Instructor’s assistants, recruiters and to staff the companies of employers who partner with Gladius.
Local instruction centers
Because our students are often “transportation challenged” we utilize satellite instruction centers throughout the areas where we operate a campus.
Part time employment as an instructor, instructor’s assistant, and other positions are available.
National opportunities
We are always looking for others to help us open campuses and instructional satellites. If you have an interest in doing well by doing good through vocational education and employment please send us an email that includes some information on you and how you think you may help us achieve our mission of helping the bottom 25% of the communities that we serve become financially secure through stable and meaningful employment.
